Finding your Fit

Here at CM Boots we have listened to our customers comments on the difficulty they have had when trying to find beautifully fitting boots.

Your comments made it clear to us that we need to make the fitting proces as simple as possible. So, before you start, grab yourself a piece of paper, a tape measure, ruler, a pen or pencil and if possible, a willing assistent. The process will take only a few moments, take your time and if you need any help, email our customer service team info@jjfootwear.nl and they will be on hand to help.

Step 1: Measuring Your Foot Length

  • Take a piece of paper and pop it on the floor.

  • D raw a line marking where the back of your heel sits on the paper.

  • Draw a line across the point at which your longest toe sits.

  • Take the ruler and measure the distance between the two points.

  • Repeat steps 1 to 4 on your other foot.

  • Most of us will have one foot which is longer than the other so when selecting your foot size always use the largest measurement.

  • Refer to the CM Foot Size table to check your size. If you're between sizes always size up to the next shoe size.

Step 2: Measuring your Foot Width

  • Take a piece of paper and pop it on the floor.

  • Stand upright, with your feet a shoulder width apart and your weight evenly distributed on the piece of paper.

  • Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your foot. Generally, the widest part of your foot sits across your big toe joint to the middle of your little toe joint.

  • Repeat steps 1 to 3 on your other foot.

  • Most of us will have one foot that is slightly wider than the other. Therefore take the measurement of the widest foot to the nearest cm and this will be your truest foot width.

  • Select your foot width from the CM size guide.

Step 3: Measuring your Calf Width

  • Go sit down on a chair.

  • Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your calf. Do this for both calves.

  • It is normal for one calf to be larger than the other. Your truest calf size is the largest measurement.

  • Select your calf measurement from the CM size guide.  *Please note: if you fall between sizes size up. CM boots run increments of 2.5cm.
